en IDP. Revista d’Internet, Dret i Política, no. 41 (octubre 2024).
The purpose of this work is to analyze the relationship between social networks with the constitutional jurisdiction: on the one hand, as soon as they assume the function of resolving human ccess to justice through electronic means promises to bring justice to citizens. Nonetheless, it is not su-fficient for judiciaries to have platforms for online judicial proceedings if they are not used. Research on online trials with statistical support is scarce. There is a platform that enables the electronic filing of lawsuits before Mexican courts from any part of the world with internet connectivity. Therefore, this article analyses the use of electronic lawsuits nationwide and at a state level of the Mexican Republic from 2019 to 2023 and the correlation between Gross Domestic Product per capita of professional, scientific and technical services (PIBsp-SPCyT). With official data, 1) the analyses are made with regards to the evolution by 100 thousand persons, by the proportion of all the filed lawsuits, and in connection with the compound annual growth rate, and 2) the correlation and impact of the electronic lawsuits and their impact in connection with PIBsp-SP-CyT is presented. Findings include a constant increase in the use of electronic lawsuits due to several factors and a direct correlation between PIBsp-SPCyT and the electronic filing of lawsuits
